RediCare Natural Healing Spray
A Natural Healing Spray and Natural Insect Repellent
with Neem and Karanja Oil
Used to relieve discomfort from:
Itching, Skin Allergies, Disorders & Rashes
For use on dogs and humans
From Wendy Steele, CEO and co-founder of Keys Soap, the manufacturer of RediCare:
RediCare is not a pesticide; it is a repellent. The way it works is by repelling insects if they light on the dog's fur/hair, and keep them from going close to the skin.
The proper way to use the product is shake it well and then apply a light spray on the body, all the way down to the tail. The product can be lightly massaged into the dog's skin if the fur/hair is very long.
When dogs are outside they lead with their faces and chest as they explore their territory (i.e. smelling around bushes, trees, etc.), so this area needs special attention as it is usually the first place where a tick or flea may light. The best way to apply RediCare to the dog's face and head is to shake the bottle and spray RediCare on your hands. With your hands, go over the top of the head, tops of the ears, all around the face and beard, and under the chin and chest. (This is just like what people do when they apply lotions to their own faces and necks, since few of us like to have something sprayed directly onto our faces!)
This application procedure can be repeated before going out for a walk—a light spray for body, and then spray your hands for applying to RediCare to the dog's face and head. Then you are ready to go!
Over time the coat is well conditioned and the Neem and Karanja repellents continue to work onto the skin which creates the protection and skin healing properties.
After a bath or after a grooming session, a light spray of RediCare while the fur/hair is still damp works as a great conditioner, and when it dries provides a soft clean smelling coat!
For optimum protection against all flying and crawling insects (including ticks) apply a light spray of RediCare every time before going outside, and be especially diligent before adventure walks.
Note to the humans: Don’t forget to protect your skin as well. Spray and spread RediCare on your own body to keep bugs off you, too!

Here is what a pet-tracker
(who searches for lost dogs with her tracking dogs)
says about RediCare:
"I tried RediCare this past weekend up in Massachusetts where there is a little lost cairn terrier. The area where he ran off is a protected wilderness area and the ticks are HORRIBLE (according to the lost dog's owner who had gotten 8 tick bites while out looking for him).
I put it on myself, my tracking dog, Salsa, and let the owner use it as well. WE DID NOT HAVE ONE TICK AMONG US after 4 hours of tracking!! I am extremely impressed and will definitely pass the word to my other Search and Rescue friends." |

Here is what Jill Siegel, Volunteer for Maryland Bichon Frise Rescue, Inc., says about RediCare:
"I started using RediCare in lieu of Frontline starting in April 2008. I had tried other Keys Soap products on myself and my dogs, and liked them all ... but was apprehensive about no longer using Frontline. Although I hated the idea of putting such harsh chemicals on my three rescued bichons, I live in an area inundated with deer, fox, groundhogs, chipmunks, and lots of other "critters", so it is necessary to have good protection for my dogs from ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, etc.
According to my veterinarian, this summer had many more ticks than a typical year. From what I could tell, there were also many more mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, etc. than in previous years. Even when getting Frontline applied monthly in previous springs/summers, my eldest bichon would have ticks on and in him that would have to be removed ... typically a few a week. This year, he had NONE. My other bichons also had NONE. The only flea I saw all summer was one that was on a dog I was petsitting -- and that dog was not sprayed with RediCare, but had been given its most recent dose of Frontline only a few days earlier! Even the grubs stayed off my dogs this year, and I keep them in long coats that the grubs love to attach to!
I had two ticks attach to me (one a day for two consecutive days) .... so I started spraying myself with RediCare before going outside. There were no more ticks on me ... even when I assisted with a lost dog search in deep woods for many hours. Plus no mosquito bites .... and they usually love to feast on me. For the first summer ever, the gnats stayed away from me instead of getting into my mouth and nose when I did my gardening.
The bottom line: I LOVE RediCare!"
