Part of what makes a Bichon Bash so much fun is the ability for the dogs to run free and play off-leash. In order to do that, we need SIX STRONG VOLUNTEERS to help set up the temporary fencing. We will need you to COMMIT to being at the Bash site by 8:30 AM on Sunday morning to allow enough time to fence-in the very large area needed. We will bring the supplies; you just need to bring your manpower (but you may want to bring work gloves). If you can help with this, please email Cathy .
We also need volunteers to work in these areas:

Minimum donation is $5.00 per person over 12 years old. Small bills appreciated. Bichons only, please All pets must be current on their vaccinations. Please note that if your bichon needs a bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine, it takes two weeks to get to full efficacy -- so please get the vaccine as soon as possible. You may want to refer to our page on Vaccinations. No male dogs over six months old that have not been neutered. Please leave your female bichon at home if she is in heat. Prince William County has a leash law, so be certain to bring a leash with you. You will need it whenever your bichon is outside the fenced area. Bring a picnic lunch for you and your family to enjoy. Bottled water and canned soda will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to Bichon Rescue. Homemade desserts will be provided at no charge. Watering stations will be provided for the dogs. Bring an adequate supply of poop bags. Please bring lawn chairs. The off-leash area will be surrounding the pavilion, but you may prefer to sit nearer the action! In order to be able to return to the park for future events, we must be diligent in cleaning up after our bichons, placing cigarette butts in the canisters provided, and properly disposing of trash.
